The interview process was the first sign which showed me that Infosys is a company which respects and keeps its employees. I was fascinated by the attitude which was demonstrated to me, first by the HR department and then the other employees for the rest of my interview process at Infosys.
I’m working on a client project for one of the largest research-based pharmaceutical companies in the world. As an Application Support Analyst, I’m responsible for the German and Austrian markets. My daily work usually includes analysis of the issues that the users of the application have faced, daily contact (per phone or emails) with the Level 1 and Level 3 teams; I am the connection between the Offshore and the local Helpdesk team. I also conduct internet conferences with users and work on occasional reports regarding the German speaking markets.
The challenges that I face at work are what make my job so interesting. Every unknown issue is a challenge for me. Sometimes I find myself in a situation in which everyone expects me to solve a problem and I don’t know how to. I believe that this is a benefit of my job; that I face different challenges every day and, as a consequence, grow professionally as well as personally.
I have been working for Infosys for 5 months. In this short period, I’ve had opportunities to do a lot of Infosys and client trainings. I attend English and Czech language courses and have also had a lot of training on communication skills.
